Arrival in Thailand
- Youโll be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel or accommodation.
- APS can arrange this for you, or you can choose a preferred place to stay nearby.
Consultation & Medical Check-Ups
- Meet Dr. Ae and the APS surgical team for your pre-op consultation.
- Youโll undergo a medical evaluation and meet with a psychiatrist for the required Thai gender dysphoria certificate.
- This day sets the foundation for a personalized and safe surgical plan.
Surgery Day
- Youโll be admitted to the hospital on the morning of surgery.
- Depending on the technique, hospital stay is:
- Skin Graft SRS: 4 nights
- Colon SRS (including laparoscopic): 5โ6 nights
- Penile-Peritoneal SRS (PPV): 6 nights
The First Two Weeks: Post-Surgery Healing & Care
Discharge & Hotel Recovery
- After surgery, youโll be transferred to your hotel for continued rest and healing.
- APS nurses will visit daily to clean wounds, change dressings, and monitor your progress.
Bandages Off
- Skin Graft SRS: bandages are removed on Day 7
- Colon/PPV SRS: bandages are removed on Day 6
Follow-Up Visits
- Day 14: Youโll return to APS Clinic for a comprehensive follow-up with the team.
- Final Check: One day before your flight home, another follow-up ensures youโre recovering well and fit to travel.
Support Throughout Your SRS Recovery
- Optional upgrade to a Service Package with a personal driver, accommodation, and full concierge support
